Seminar on "Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Self-Reliant India" at Government College, Rupnagar

A seminar on the topic "Safe and Trusted AI" was organized at Government College, Rupnagar, under the patronage of Principal Jatinder Singh Gill, in accordance with the guidelines of AICTE and IIC. The seminar was conducted by the HEIS Department with the objective of enhancing students’ knowledge.

The session was led by the chief guest and keynote speaker, Prof. Aruna Rani, Assistant Professor, Lamrin Tech Skills University. She highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence in human life and explained its practical applications to the students. During the lecture, various speakers including Ashwita and Santosh explained the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and discussed its applications in diverse fields such as healthcare, education, banking, and industry. They also shed light on the significance of machine learning, data analysis, and automation, and encouraged students to develop technical skills to meet future industrial demands.

Students actively participated in the seminar and asked questions related to AI careers and innovations. On this occasion, IIC Head Prof. Arvinder Kaur and HEIS Secretary Prof. Shaminder Kaur also addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of Artificial Intelligence and expressing gratitude to the guests and speakers for sharing valuable insights.

The stage was efficiently conducted by Prof. Jupinder Kaur. The seminar was successfully organized with the support of the HEIS Department faculty members including Dr. Vikramjit Singh, Prof. Manpreet Singh, Prof. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Prof. Navjot Kaur, Prof. Lachhmi, Prof. Mandip Kaur, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur, and Prof. Tajinder Kaur, along with other college staff members and students.
