The Women’s Cell of Government College, Ropar functions as a supportive forum for young women, motivating them to become confident, informed, and socially responsible individuals. Eminent personalities including IPS & IAS officers, district administrators, medical professionals, academicians, entrepreneurs, journalists, and social leaders are invited to interact with students and share their journeys.

On March 8, 2023, Government College, Ropar under the guidance of Principal Jatinder Singh, celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event aimed to honor the achievements of women and girls in our community and to promote gender equality and women's rights with the theme' Women of Change'. The celebration was marked by a series of performances and activities, with girl students showcasing their talents through various dances and other perfomances. The guests of the event were retired principals and Amrit Kaur(PCS) who is also an alumni of the college. Dr. Harjas Kaur was awarded with the 'Achiever of the Day' award for her outstanding achievements. Various staff members participated in the event and did various activities. |
