Date:- 15 August, 2025 Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government College Ropar under the leadership of Principal Sardar Jatinder Singh Gill. The event was organized by the NSS units, Red Ribbon Club (RRC), and NCC. The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Principal, followed by his inspiring address to the students and staff. He emphasized the importance of patriotism and encouraged everyone to actively participate in the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic fervor as students recited poems and sang songs dedicated to the spirit of 15th August. A poster-making competition was also held to showcase students' creativity and love for the nation.The event witnessed the participation of around 80 girls, 40 boys, and 70 staff members, making it a memorable and meaningful celebration.
