A seven-day Civil Defence Training Programme is being conducted, and today was the second day of the training.
In the first morning session, Subedar Bir Bahadur Singh Ji from 23 Battalion NCC, Punjab & Chandigarh, Rupnagar showed a video related to Mission Sindoor and briefly explained its objectives and the importance of preparedness in the present situation.
In the second session, Inspector Sudarshan Singh delivered a lecture on CPR and Fire Safety, highlighting basic life-saving techniques and safety measures.
After lunch, in the third session, safety kits, PPT kits, diaries, and other essential items were distributed to the volunteers, along with brief information about their proper use.
